The workflow
Give the AI your bullet points — the events, dates, reminders and celebrations for the period — plus a line about your school's tone, and ask for a full draft. Edit for accuracy and voice, drop in anything pupil-specific yourself (checking permissions as you always would), and you've turned an hour-plus job into fifteen minutes. Over a year of weekly or fortnightly issues, that's days of staff time recovered from one task.
Keeping the school's voice
The common worry is newsletters starting to sound robotic. The fix is a short tone guide — three or four sentences describing how your school sounds — pasted at the top of every prompt.
